Welcome to LiNk-Notts, the Nottinghamshire lesbian konnections website.

What is LiNk?

LiNk was setup in 2006 by popular demand for women in Nottingham and the surrounding area who identify as lesbian or bisexual, who would like to LiNk up with other women for on and off-scene activities.

LiNk is the.... erm... link!  but everyone on the list is both member and potential organiser. If there's an activity you'd like to share with others, or an event you'd like to attend, then send an email to this list and see who else wants to join in.

LiNk is a safe forum for women in Nottinghamshire to konnect with each other.
Anyone who does not treat other members with consideration and respect will be removed from the group.

How to Join

LiNk  is currently run with a Yahoo Group. You can join in one of two ways:

- if you want to subscribe to the email list only, send an email to linknotts-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

- if you want to join the Yahoo Group fully, to be able to see more information about the group, Click here to join

This is a moderated and volunteer run membership group, so you may have to wait a day or two to be approved. We'll get to you as soon as we can!

What LiNk is not

LiNk is not a general chat group. We ask that you only post about group activities that you are organising, or in reply to another activity email. There is a chat room available on the Yahoo Group, so please chat on that, and not via the emails.

Some members cannot receive large amounts of email and so would be alienated if this group generates too many.

Safety first!

Please think of your safety when organising events. For example, don't invite strangers to an event in your home without making sure that someone you know is there with you. Wherever possible meet new people in busy places first.
